You can now earn continuing professional development (CPD) hours when you complete one or more of our relational skills training programmes.

OnePlusOne’s Relational leaders and Relational capability training programmes have been accredited by the CPD Certification Service. This follows an extensive independent assessment of our evidence-based training and materials and means that people completing training with us can now record their learning as part of their commitment to continuing professional development.

Charmari Downing, OnePlusOne’s programme development manager, said: “A robust evidence base lies at the heart of all of OnePlusOne’s work. Our own monitoring and evaluation systems allow us to measure the effectiveness of what we do, whether it’s training practitioners or creating resources for parents and families.

“Practitioners attending our training courses have told us how much it has helped them to perform their roles better and with more confidence. I’m delighted that in addition to equipping people with knowledge and practical skills to apply in their everyday lives, we can now also offer CPD hours to support their continuing professional education.”

There are currently two CPD-accredited courses:

• Relational leaders is designed for aspiring and existing leaders and managers, to help them develop leadership and communication skills that will help them to create psychologically safe, collaborative and efficient workplaces, as well as know what to do when they face challenging relationships at work. (12 CPD hours)

• Relational capability is designed for frontline professionals to help them build more meaningful and effective relationships with clients, colleagues and communities, and secure better outcomes for everybody involved. (13.5 CPD hours)
